In April 2022, five Asian American scholar organizations presented the following recommendations to the OSTP Subcommittee on Research Security, National Science and Technology Council. The organizations–Alliance of Asian Faculty and Staff Associations, Asian American Academy of Science and Engineering (AAASE), Asian American Scholar Forum (AASF), Case Western Reserve University Asian Faculty Association, and the University of Michigan Association of Chinese Professors–have agreed to make the recommendations publicly available:
